Hello families!
Hopefully you are enjoying the beautiful summer we are having! I have been spending time at Summit getting to know the building, staff and getting our classroom ready for the new school year.
I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me! I was born and raised just around the corner in Burlington. I went to the University of Vermont and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. I did my student teaching at Hiawatha School. (I'm very excited to be back in Essex Junction!) Since graduation I have worked in a variety of different roles. I worked as a learning resource long term substitute at Underhill ID School, a 4th grade long term substitute at Orchard School in South Burlington and I taught a multiage 1st and 2nd grade last year in Bristol.
